Introduction

This document provides a quick guide explaining how to create a Shipment in the One Network System.

Creating a Shipment

1. Log in to the One Network system.
2. Select Transportation > New Shipment to open the New Shipment page.
   
3. Enter the following details on New Shipment page:
   

   1. Shipment Number

      You can use system generated shipment number if required.

   2. Ship From Site 

      Shipper will populate based on this information entered.

   3. Ship To Site 

      Consignee will populate based on this information entered.

   4. Equipment
   5. Pickup date range
   6. Delivery date range
      
      
4. Click Content tab to enter information pertaining to the shipment lines.
5. Click Add Line link to display the New Shipment Line window to enter the line information.
   
   
6. In the New Shipment Line window, enter the following shipment line information:
   1. Line Number (auto-generated)
   2. Item
   3. Weight
   4. Volume
   5. Shipped Quantity and Quantity Unit of Measure
      
      
7. After you enter the shipment line information, click Add on the New Shipment Line window.
   
8. Repeat this process to add more shipment lines. 
9. On the Schedule tab, enter the following shipment attribute information:
   
   1. Appointment Required (checkbox)
   2. Partner
   3. Partner Profile
   4. Commodity Code
   5. Appointment Code
   6. Load Type
      
10. After all shipment information has been entered on the various tabs, press the Save button on the bottom of the screen to create the shipment.
    A success message is displayed indicating the shipment has been created.
