Introduction


Various flagswhich indicate certain shipment or movement status information, can be displayed for a Shipment and Movement that indicate certain status-type informationshipment and movement. A Shipment shipment can display a flag for being over-weightoverweight, over-dimension, contains containing hazardous items, or contains containing special instructions.

Note

The overOver-dimension Dimension flag is only for a Shipment/Movement shipment or movement with LTL (i.e. Less Than Truck Load) or Parcel Equipment Typesparcel equipment types. A Movement movement can display a flag for being over Overweight, Over-weightDimension, over-dimension or contains hazardous or for Hazardous items.


These flags are shown on the Movement/Shipment Summary page under a Flags column. This column is shown if at least one Shipment shipment or one Movement movement on the page has a flag set.

Configuring the Flags Functionality

  1. Log in on to the One Network System.
  2. To set Set the "Overweight" flag on a Shipmentshipment:
    1. Click Administration > Equipment Settings and add an Equipment Setting for Equipment equipment setting for a piece of equipment such as Container
    2. On the Equipment Settings Detail page, set the "Max Weight " field to a certain value.

  3. Click Transportation > Awaiting and create or locate a single–shipment movement with the Equipment whose Equipment Setting was created in the step directly above.

  4. Click on Select the Shipment Number hyperlink to display the Shipment Details page.

  5. On the Shipment Details page, select the the Content tab and set the Shipment Line weight Weight so it exceeds the "Max Weight" specified  specified on the Equipment Settingequipment setting.

  6. Locate the shipment on the Shipment Summary page.

  7. To set the "Over-Dimension" flag on a Shipmentshipment:
    1. Click Administration > Equipment Settings and add an Equipment Setting equipment setting for an LTL Equipment equipment, such as "LTL Reefer". 

      Note

      Equipment must be LTL or Parcelparcel.

    2. On the Equipment Settings Detail page, set the "Shipping Unit Length", "Shipping Unit Width" and " and Shipping Unit Height" field ranges to certain values.

      Note

      The over dimension flag will be Over-Dimension flag is set if any of the shipment header's or line's length, width, or height are outside of the equipment settings length, width or heightfor those parameters.

  8. Click Transportation > Awaiting and create or locate a single–shipment movement with the Equipment equipment whose Equipment Setting equipment setting was created in the step directly above.
  9. Select the Click on the Shipment Number hyperlink to display the Shipment Details page.
  10. On the Shipment Details page, select the click on the Content tab and set the Shipment Line Length, Width, or Height so any of these values are outside of the Equipment equipment settings length, width, or height. 
  11. Press the Save button to save the informationClick Save.

  12. Locate the shipment on the Shipment Summary page.

  13. To set the "Hazardous" flag on a Shipmentshipment, first create or locate a single-shipment movement.
  14. Select the Then, click the Shipment Number hyperlink to display the Shipment Details page.
  15. Select the Click Content tab.
  16. Select the "Hazardous" checkbox  checkbox field in the Shipment Header and then select the "( header, click on the Contact Info)" link next to the Hazardous checkbox, and fill in the contact information. 
  17. Enter information in the related fields located under the "Hazardous" checkbox - enter Hazardous checkbox

  20. To set the "Special Instructions" flag  flag on a Shipmentshipment, create or locate a single–shipment movement.
  21. Select the Click the Shipment Number hyperlink to display the Shipment Details page and select the ".
  22. Click Other Info" tab.
  23. Select the "(Click on the Click to edit)" Edit link next to the "Other" field under the "Special Instructions" section Other field. Enter special instruction information. 
  24. Press the Save button Click Save to save the information.
