This document explains how to create a Shipment Template shipment template in the One Network Systemsystem. A user You can pre-define information on the New Shipment page and then save this information as a Shipment Templateshipment template. This Shipment Template shipment template can then be used at any time when creating a new shipment, and the information stored on the template will pre-populate on the New Shipment page so the user does you do not have to manually enter it each time.

Creating a Shipment Template

1. Log in on to the One Network system.
2. Click Transportation > New Shipment to open the New Shipment pageShipment page.

3. The New Shipment page is displayed with the Header tab selected. Enter the following information on the Header tab:
   1. Shipment No field

   2. Ship From Site field 

      Note
      The Shipper field will populate based on this the information entered.

   3. Ship To Site field

      Note
      The Consignee field will populate based on this the information entered.

   4. Equipment field
   5. Pickup date/time range field
   6. Delivery date/time range field

4. To enter information on the other tabs, first fill in information on for the required fields on the Header tab.

   Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*) symbol). Once that is donefilled, you can select any of the other tabs.

5. Click Save As to create a template.

   This template can be used later.

6. A popup window is displayed to enter the name for the template. Enter a name in the Template Name field and then click Save.

7. To use this shipment template, when you open the New Shipment page next time, click the Switch link.

8. A pop-up is displayed with the a list of available templates. Choose your the newly-created template and then click click the Select button on the pop-up.

9. The name of the chosen template is displayed, and the information stored in this template will be populated in the fields on the New Shipment page.

10. A UI user interface page is available to help manage Shipment Templates. It is shipment templates, located at Transportation > Manage Templates.

11. The Manage Templates page is divided into two sections:
    1. My Templates
    2. Standard Templates
       
12. The My Template section contains a list of templates created by user.
13. The Standard Template section contains a list of templates that come with the One Network system. 
14. Each template has list of available actions that can be performed which include:
    1. Copy
    ,
    2. Edit
    , Delete, and Disable. 
    2. Delete
    3. Disable 
15. The default template that is used when the New Shipment page is opened will be identified by the selected radio button. The user You can select a radio button next to any template that the user wants to be the to set it as default.
